I like how this table ended up.  The table top is rustic, mostly because this table had a hard life out on a patio in all weather conditions.  I wanted to leave some history on it, plus I wasn't sure how to remove a large grease stain that had penetrated it (ok, that was most of it).  I added a starbust and sanded most of it off after staining.  It adds to the rustic feel.  Now I need some chairs that will work with it...Ahh, more treasure hunting to do!

The guilded mirror is now hanging in the proper place.  I love that it is almost 5 ft tall, it really impacts the space.

Ended up going with a matte chocolate brown and am LOVING it!!  It looks as though it's cast out of Hershey's Special Dark:)  So happy- will post a final when I have it hung up!
