The pumpkins went uncarved this Halloween, but my table is making progress!  I seemed to have fixed the broken leg (lots of wood glue and 3 of my old business cards did it!!).  I may not be Norm from Yankee Workshop, but I don't think it's going to collapse under Thanksgiving dinner either.  (send prayers)
I am very happy with the pearl "oopsie" paint I found.  I was worried that it would be too white, but it has developed into a soft cream.  Now for the table top- it will be a very dark espresso to match my cupboards.

I bought this table knowing that I didn't NEED it.  I just saw the potential in it, and I believe it "asked" me to take it home.  After sitting in my garage for most of the summer, I have finally started on it.  After all, the weather is changing and I wanted to park the car in the garage- so it needed to move!!  It is slightly (?) crooked, and has a leg that is broken off- but that can be fixed!
